HOUSTON, TX - A man riding a scooter was seriously injured when he was hit by a suspected drunk driver in west Houston on Tuesday.
According to a report by Fox 26, the man was hit by a white coupe while riding in the 16100 block of Park Row, near the intersection with Park Ten Boulevard. The vehicle then veered off the roadway and crashed into a tree.
The man on the scooter was rushed to a local hospital with multiple broken bones and a suspected spinal injury.
Police suspected the driver involved of being impaired at the time of the crash. It is unclear whether she will face any charges at this time.
