HOUSTON, TX - A man was fatally struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in Houston's Westchase neighborhood early Monday.
According to a report by the HPD, the crash occurred at about 5:40 a.m. in the 11800 block of Westheimer Road, near the intersection with South Kirkwood Road.
Witnesses told police the victim, a 76-year-old man, was crossing against the traffic signal when he was hit by a brown Toyota Venza.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene.
