HOUSTON, TX - First responders reported a single fatality resulting from a rush-hour crash in northwest Houston on Wednesday evening.
According to a report by KPRC, the crash occurred at about 6:30 p.m. on TX-249 near the intersection with Old Foltin Drive.
Officials confirmed one person died as a result of the crash. Further details, including the victim's identity, are unavailable at this time.
The highway was blocked in both directions for some time following the deadly crash. All lanes have since reopened.
