The incident took place in the area of Georgia Avenue and Wildwood Drive on November 14, at around 3:30 p.m.
Details remain limited, but authorities indicated the teen was walking to her residence from Deer Park High School - South Campus when she was struck by a pickup truck.
First responders had the victim rushed by Life Flight to an area hospital, where she was listed in very serious condition.
On Thursday, the victim's family made a decision to take her off life support, confirmed officials. Due to the victim's age, her name will not be published on this blog.
