HOUSTON, TX -- A 33-year-old man was killed Sunday morning in southwest Houston when his motorcycle crashed off a highway overpass after possibly being hit by another vehicle, reports the Houston Police Department.
The fatal incident occurred in the 11900 block of U.S. Highway 90 at about 10:40 a.m.
Investigators say the man was operating an orange Suzuki GSXR motorcycle when he appeared to be hit by an unknown vehicle, causing him to lose control of the bike and crash. The impact sent the male rider over the bridge overpass and onto the 300 block of North Holmes Road below.
Responding paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
At this time, the HPD has not released a description of a striking vehicle. An investigation by the department's Vehicular Crimes Division remains ongoing.
