HARRIS COUNTY, TX -- Authorities responded to a crash involving a child on a bicycle and an SUV Tuesday morning near northwest Houston, reports KHOU11.
The incident was reported in the area of Grant Road and Canyon Rose Lane, just west of State Route 249, shortly after 7:00 a.m.
According to the Precinct 4 Constable's Office, the child was riding a bike when they were hit by a driver in a white Ford SUV.
Responding EMS personnel evaluated the victim at the scene, but no information on the patient's condition was immediately shared, and it's unclear whether they were taken to a hospital.
Authorities have also not indicated whether the driver stayed behind at the scene. No pending charges have been reported as of this writing.
