HOUSTON, TX - A driver was arrested after trying to flee the scene of a multi-vehicle crash that claimed the lives of two people in southwest Houston on Saturday.
According to KTRK, a silver sedan ran the red light Crenshaw Road and the Beltway 8 entrance ramp at about 6 p.m. and slammed into a pickup truck. The impact ejected one of the sedan's passengers and caused the truck to spin around.
Both passengers of the sedan suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash. The driver initially fled the scene of the deadly crash, but was located a short time later.
