HARRIS COUNTY, TX -- One person was injured Tuesday morning due to a fiery two-vehicle crash in Spring that left them trapped, according to Click2Houston.
The accident took place on a stretch of Interstate 45 (North Freeway) near the Grand Parkway. It was first reported by the Spring Fire Department at 8:42 a.m.
While the events leading up to the wreck are still under investigation, a box truck and a van were involved. The impact caused at least one of the vehicles to catch fire and left the driver of the van trapped.
SFD officials confirmed one person was transported to an area hospital, where the patient's condition remains undisclosed.
