HOUSTON, TX - A police chase and subsequent crash on caused major delays on Houston's South Loop on Wednesday evening, KTRK reports.
The pursuit commenced around 8 p.m. when an officer witnessed a hit-and-run incident near Fannin and the South Loop. The suspect allegedly struck another vehicle as the HPD officer trailed behind.
The chase lasted for several miles until the suspect crashed in the eastbound lanes of the interstate near Cullen Boulevard at about 8:51 p.m.
