HOUSTON, TX -- A 12-year-old girl suffered injuries Wednesday when a vehicle crashed into her home in southwest Houston, according to Click2Houston.
The incident was reported at a house off the corner of Ludington Drive and Sandpiper Drive.
A driver told authorities that he was experiencing a medical issue when his vehicle slammed into the residence and leaving the girl trapped under the vehicle.
Emergency responders extricated the child from the wreckage and transported her to an area hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening, including a broken leg.
The Houston Police Department's Vehicular Crimes Division continues to investigate the crash. No charges have been reported at this time.
