HARRIS COUNTY, TX -- One person was killed Wednesday night near Klein when they were struck by a vehicle, moments after a separate crash, according to ABC13.
The fatal incident unfolded in the 6900 block of Spring Cypress Road, west of TC Jester Boulevard. It was first reported by Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez at about 8:00 p.m.
Preliminary details show that one vehicle was initially rear-ended by a second car. Both drivers then exited their vehicles and began to argue and engage in a physical fight. At one point, one of the drivers, believed to be the one at fault in the minor crash, was hit by a third vehicle traveling on Spring Cypress Road.
The injured pedestrian, who deputies said appeared to be a young man in his late teens or early 20s, was pronounced deceased.
Authorities said the driver of the third vehicle stopped and remained at the scene after the crash. Investigators are working to determine whether the victim was also hit by other vehicles.
