HOUSTON, TX -- A 26-year-old man died early Sunday following a crash near Addicks Reservoir in northwest Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.
The HPD's Vehicular Crimes Division said the collision occurred in the 4300 block of North Eldridge Parkway at around 1:40 a.m.
Preliminary details indicate the victim was operating a silver Nissan Sentra southbound when he failed to stop at a red light. Moments later, the Nissan collided with a white Ford F-150 pickup truck heading westbound on Clay Road.
The driver of the Nissan was rushed to Memorial Hermann - Texas Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the Ford, a 43-year-old man, and his passenger, a 20-year-old woman, were transported to an area hospital where they were listed in stable conditions.
